The Basque Country and Navarre Regional Science Association has a long-standing tradition in the study of territorial, regional, and urban dynamics, and has established itself as a key platform bringing together researchers and professionals committed to understanding and shaping regional development.

Regional and urban studies have deep roots in the Basque Country and Navarre, which led to the creation of this Association within the framework of the Spanish Regional Science Association. Building on this legacy, we are now entering a new phase defined by renewal, growth, and the opportunity to strengthen our role within the broader scientific community.

Our mission is clear: to consolidate an active, rigorous, and open network that promotes high-quality research, fosters collaboration across institutions, and contributes meaningfully to the debate on the major territorial challenges of our time.

The Association’s activities —including conferences, seminars, scientific meetings, and publications— will remain at the core of this project. At the same time, we actively seek to expand our membership and reinforce connections with other academic and professional communities.

This website aims to serve as a true meeting point, facilitating the exchange of ideas, collaboration, and the development of new initiatives.
